After the successes of Fierce Punch and A Very Wes Anderson Art Show, we’ve been hard at work devising a worthy follow up showcase. This time, we’re paying tribute to a genre-defying classic: Cowboy Bebop. In doing so, we’re highlighting all the eclectic elements that make it a transcendent and timeless piece of fiction.
Hardboiled Space Boogie will feature original art celebrating all the things that make Cowboy Bebop unique. It’s a one-night only event where patrons can connect directly with local artists.
With all of our shows, there’s been a fashion or cosplay element and this is no exception. Come as you are or dress up in all the styles that embody noir, cyber punk and everything in between.
Downstairs, we’ll be paying tribute to the musical vibe of the series if not the actual music itself. Expect bands that exemplify Jazz, Blues, Rock and outer space. Beach Language and Tyler Hopkins (And The Rebellion) are confirmed. We’ll have more announcements to come. As always, Mike Allen will close out the night with a crowd-pleasing dance/dj set.

It’s currently unknown if the Speakeasy’s kitchen will be open or what they’ll serve in June. We’ll be working to get something appropriate and interesting in for the event.
Again, the show is free but you must be 21 years old or older to attend.
We are accepting submissions for the show. The deadline to submit art will be June 20th, the Monday before the show.

We didn’t take a commission for any sales in the past, but we’re tweaking this slightly. Moving forward, there will be a $5 flat fee for every sale that takes place. All of the commission money will be donated to the Oklahoma Food Bank in an effort to battle child hunger in our city.
